Hey, my name is Mode Kotova. I am an artist interested in multiple different mediums. From writing to visuals to audio, I explore it all! My art focuses on inner emotions, intimacy, loneliness, the forgotten, and the uncomfortably comforting.
I am currently focused on writing my first-ever novel, Cruel Anatomy, a psychological-psychosexual horror novel that follows an entry-level lawyer as she grapples with moral struggles that come with engaging in unfair corporate medical malpractice legal systems that have the potential to destroy lives, strip away one's dignity, and bodily autonomy. Her interpersonal life descends into madness as she attempts to find comfort and community in an attempt to run from guilt she is too cowardly to face. Stay up to date about Cruel Anatomy
Outside of art, I enjoy video games(especially anime visual novels), reading, listening to music, skateboarding, trying new recipes, cosplaying my favorite characters, and looking at my pet isopods!

BYOB is my go-to vibe-ruiner karaoke song choice. I remember hearing SOAD for the first time as a kid while playing Guitar Hero at a friend's house. I had never heard anything like it, and I memorized the lyrics so I could look it up once I got back home!
